6th Risk Management & Compliance Forum – Hotel Grande Bretagne, Athens, 26th of June 2014
The financial crisis highlights the need for effective management and control of financial risks. This event offered to executives the possibility to exchange experiences, know-how and thoughts related to Risk Management and Compliance with financial institutions. Representatives from companies, banks, insurance companies, regulatory authorities, institutional partners, consulting companies as well as IT providers will present and analyze the current situation, developments, new trends and the role of Risk Management and Compliance in the Greek and also the wider European financial sector.
Specifically, this year’s event focused on the following topics: Trouble Asset Management; CRD IV; Stress Test; Corporate Governance; Risk Appetite.
Cristina Ungureanu was the international speaker invited at this event and held a presentation on the developments in the EU Corporate Governance of Banks, with particular emphasis on the implications of the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD IV) on banks’ governance.
